About Creative FX

Creative FX was formed by a number of individuals who had worked exclusively in the Foreign exchange Commodity and Banking market arena. During their time with medium to large institutions it was apparent that a considerable number of clients, both corporate and individuals, were becoming disillusioned with their current offering be it with large banks or brokers and wanted a return to the more traditional level of personal one to one service. We have been pleasantly surprised by the number of clients who have decided that working with Creative FX is something they are subsequently glad they have done. To date that has resulted in our clients achieving better rates and facilities than they were being offered previously. All our clients large and small all have a personal relationship with one of our consultants and a single point of contact, rather than being directed via a bank switchboard which means that whenever they want advice, rates or market information, their own consultant is on hand to answer these queries.

Howard Meikle - Director of Trading

Howard Meikle was one of the founding members of Currencies4less, the London based private FX specialist, in 2000. He was the head of the private client desk and was instrumental in the rapid expansion of that desk which contributed to the overall growth of Currencies4less. In 2007, he moved out of the industry to pursue other interests. Currencies4less was subsequently rebranded as Baydonhill plc which was then sold to Earthport plc in 2014. Howard was keen to replicate the success of Currencies4less and was welcomed as the Director of trading at the newly formed CreativeFX 2 years ago. "It's great to be back and be dealing with the same type of customers as I did in 2001... in fact some of my old customers have found out where I am working and have made contact which is incredibly satisfying after all this time."

Charles McLeod - CEO CreativeFX

Charles McLeod was a successful commodities trader in the mid to late 1980's. The experience of running a highly successful team in the stressful area of Commodities trading, together with some excellent contacts in the City gave him the confidence to start Currencies4less in March 2000. The small team he assembled around him managed to grow the business beyond their wildest expectations. The upshot was the company was floated in 2004 on the AIM market, as well as Charles being runner up to the Entrepreneur of the year in 2005. Charles and his close team grew the business collectively until he stood down in 2007 to concentrate on other outside interests. When the sale of the business, then named Baydonhill plc was completed, and following a specified period, Charles was keen to re-enter the market. "Those early days of Currencies4less were amongst the happiest and most satisfying of my life. If at Creative FX we can replicate just a small proportion of that feeling, and client happiness/contentment, it will have been successful."
